Project Information
The Tenant Improvement project in Stantec Headquarters was a 10-month contract that included complex lighting and electrical fit outs on Levels 3 – 18. There were nearly 5,000 light fixtures installed in 6 months, and fire alarm verification for 14 floors was completed in 30 days. Located in Edmonton’s Ice District, Stantec Tower is a 66-floor mixed-use building and is the tallest tower in Canada west of Toronto. The tower includes 29 storeys of commercial workspace, 483 condo suites and 20,000 square feet of amenity space. The office contains an open community staircase with views of the Ice District and Roger’s Place. The building’s main design focus was to encourage collaboration in an office setting. Stantec has taken steps to lead the way in a “Environmentally Green” office tower, with a focus on sustainable gas, power and water consumption of the building.
